Middle School/Early High School Athlete Performance

At this age, you are growing and changing! This program teaches the foundational skills of athletic movement for all of our up-and-coming athletes. We take special care here to focus on our young female athletes as we know the risk is higher for our young gals. Let's start learning and moving safely with strength!

Late High School/College Athlete Performnce

Use your foundational athletic skills to build a stable base. We know our high school/college athletes are busy! We want them to learn how to move and strengthen correctly and take those skills with them to the field, court or trail. For our College athletes coming back on break; let's recover, refocus and rebuild to avoid injury and upgrade performance!

Adult Performance

Whether you're beginning a training program for the first time or you are an adult athlete, you need to learn how to keep yourself MOVING! We've got no time for injury or setbacks. Stay safe and learn how to build an unbreakable body with our program. Train with certified professionals who have trained with the best and dedicated their education and time to keep you safe.

Why: We all want our pitchers to be safer, stronger and more successful over the long term!

Today, it's hard to know what's good or bad for a young baseball player and pitcher. There is a lot competing information to review. Most of it is helpful for the right player at the right time and in the right dosage. Not easy! ACTIV takes a holistic athletes' first approach! Emphasis on the fundamentals will keep them safer, stronger, and more successful over the long-term. ACTIV Arm Care will help motivated and curious young pitchers to develop the skills and understanding they need to reach these goals.

How: Teach young athletes to take ownership of their training!

ACTIV Arm Care objectives: 1) Improved understanding of foundational arm care, 2) Organized preparation for throwing and pitching, 3) Solidifying recovery habits, and 4) More efficient mechanics. ACTIV's organized arm care approach increases athlete’s confidence and strength while reducing shoulder and elbow stress. All of this will help our pitchers improve their velocity and throw more strikes allowing them to compete at any level!

Instructors: Yassir Kahook is a college baseball player and pitcher at the University of Akron who has had experience working with some of the most experienced trainers in the baseball world. Edward Ash is a Physical Therapist and owner of ACTIV, he is also Driveline-Certified Instructor, and has been rehabilitating young pitchers for 25 years.

Suggested Equipment: J-Bands, Wrist weights (5 or 10 pounds), Plyocare balls (Green and blue), and a TheraBand Flex bar, 18" foam-roller, and lacrosse ball. All of these are sold at or below internet pricing at ACTIV.
